Trend: Long Vest

Finally the spring is here and the temperatures are starting to rise. It's time to refresh our closet and why not even our personal style from time to time needs a restyling. Try new trends, experimenting new things and make new experiences. I am so in love with this outfit, it's so fresh and clean! I am glad that this season long vests are a must have. You can wear it with everything and gives to your outfit a classy touch giving that wow factor to your look. If you are looking for a vest i highly recommend to buy it in light colours, grey or camel, two colours that you can easily match with every colour in your wardrobe, i don't recommend black because then the outfit would look to "heavy", to serious! But if you can't give up on black then at least chose a very lightweight fabric.
Tip: for a more original look you can add a belt over your vest, with colourful stones or one made of suede (the contrast between the fabrics looks fantastic).

Matches Fashion presents Vetements #SS15

Vetements Collection SS15

Yesterday i attended an evening cocktail party at Matches Fashion townhouse #no23. Was the official launching of the french brand Vetements Collection #SS15 here in London available now on www.matchesfashion.com. The collection included anything but normal cuts or shapes, was all about playing with forms, asymmetric lines and exaggerated shapes. If you think at Vetements's type of women who would wear their clothes picture this in mind: a girl that has stolen her boyfriend's jacket, an over sized shirt underneath it and a sexy asymmetrical skirt having a fearless independent attitude. This collection is definitely not my type but they have some clothing items that can easily fit in every closet such as the asymmetrical skirt, the knitted crop top or the camel trench coat (probably the only items that weren't oversized and exaggerated, see the first picture)
The location was very classy, at Matches Fashion townhouse in the heart of London and it felt like being to a small, private cocktail party, i wish i could said "friendly" but let's just say that the atmosphere (the guests) in some occasions were a "little bit snob" but despite that the hosts were very lovely and  did an amazing job. There wasn't a dress code but some guests showed up dressed very casual (maybe too casual for my taste). I wore a white top from Zara, high waisted leather pants from Missguied, sandals from JusFab and my vintage bag Giorgio Armani.

#TREND Sixties Dresses

Sixties trend

Vintage, vintage, vintage! I love vintage items! I love to wear it because it gives that originality to your outfit that only vintage items can give,  having their own story and i've always been fascinated about it! My favourite place to shop vintage items is Portobello Road, you can find unique things and real bargains. That's where i bought my sixties dress and my tote leather bag.
I am so happy that '60 are back! I love the trapeze dresses because they fit every body shape and are so versatile, you can wear it from the morning to the night easily by changing your shoes (from flats to high heels) and your accessories (from a tote bag to a clutch).
I've created some outfits with my favourite sixties dresses. <3
